Sunshine Room

Broadway's Sunshine Room preschool program provides a creative learning environment for children beginning at the age of 2 years, 9 months continuing until they are ready for our Rainbow Room class. This program is tailored to the individual needs of the children and designed to lay the foundation for social, intellectual, creative, physical and emotional growth.

Children in the Sunshine Room are offered a variety of activities including art and music experiences, science and math, cooking, stories, nutritious snack time, and indoor/outdoor play that challenges both gross motor and fine motor skills.

 

Class Structure

When:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 - 12:00
Or
Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9:00 - 12:00

  •  Optional extended care from 12:00 - 3:00 pm is also available
    •  ($7.50 / hr)
  •  A Summer program for preschool children is also available

    • Broadway follows the Oakland Public School Calendar

    Minimum Age:
    3 years old by Dec. of the year your child begins the program

    Program Size:
    12 Children per class

    Staff: (one adult for every six children)

    Fees:
    Current tuition for the two-day program is $2850.00 per year (Sept - June), payable in 10 installments of $285.
    Current tuition for the three-day program is $3500.00 per year (Sept - June), payable in 10 installments of $350.
