Parents and Children Together (PACT)

PACT program is 50% for children, 50% for parents. Every Thursday from 10:30-11:30 am parents participate in a structured parent education program/support group. PACT is an opportunity for parents to share the joys and frustrations of parenthood. Through this sharing, a supportive, caring community can develop.

A typical day in PACT includes art and music experiences, stories, nutritious snack time, and indoor/outdoor playtime.

In this cooperative program, parents assist the teachers a given number of days each year. In addition, parents spend every Thursday morning each week at school. A portion of this time is spent in activities with the children, and the rest of the morning is given to a discussion group.
